Tyson

When 13 year old schnauzer cross Tyson’s family gave him up to others to look after him, his world crashed. But, as is often the way, this turned out to be the saving of Tsyon. He is now loved and cared for and will be for the rest of his life.

He is being looked after by the small, independent Part of the Family Dog Rescue who quickly arranged all medical care for him. Their vet diagnosed Tyson with Cushing’s which requires regular medication and monitoring. All of which he gets.

He also loves a massage.

And walks, he loves his walks. Something nobody ever bothered doing with him in his previous world.

He is the sweetest, most gentle old soul and no bother at all. It’s a good job he came to me because no one would have taken him to the vet for a diagnosis or medication and no one had even bothered to take him for a walk in years.

As you can imagine, he is now living the very best chapter of his life with his lovely fosterer, and he absolutely lives for his daily walks.

A Schnauzerfest Grant is supporting Tyson’s rescue with the costs of his veterinary treatment.

NOVEMBER 2023

Tyson is doing very well in his long term foster home. He’s a lively, happy chap and very loving.

Thank you very much to Schnauzerfest for kindly agreeing to sponsor his medication for us. It is expensive and we are such a small rescue so every penny counts.
