With this special walk we honour the memory of Susie-Belle, the dog who inspires everything we do, who was adopted in 2011 by Schnauzerfest founder, Janetta Harvey. Susie-Belle enjoyed 4 years of freedom after being saved from a puppy farm. Sadly, in the week leading up to Schnauzerfest 2015, she was diagnosed with the terminal illness which was to take her life just 5 weeks later.

Since her death Memorial Walks have been held to celebrate her life and that of every dog who we share our lives with. And to remember all those who, like Susie-Belle are unfortunate to be caught up in the awful puppy farming industry.

COVID disrupted all our events but we hope to hold a Memorial Walk at some point in future.
