Beautiful Nellie was taken in by London based All Dogs Matter rescue after being used for breeding. Sadly for Nellie, this life has taken its toll. She is shut down and wary of humans. This is a common harm done to breeding dogs by the neglectful life they are forced into. But, the good news for Nellie, is that she is with a great rescue which will support her now, finding the best possible home in which she will thrive as soon as she has received all necessary veterinary treatment.
APRIL 2023
Nellie’s story took quite a turn shortly after we first got to hear about her. She was pregnant! So for the first time in her life she was able to give birth surrounded by love, care and comforts. Her foster home looked after her beautifully throughout her pregnancy and whelping. She raised a beautiful litter of three puppies.
Now named Gretel, she has just gone to her new home, as have each puppy: Hector, Dennis and Rosie.
All four dogs are doing great and will now have eveything wonderful in their lives.
