Eleven year old Wolfie and her sister, 4 year old Otta have lived with a family which sadly has experienced major upheaval. Both dogs have been taken in by Starfish Dog Rescue, a small, independent local rescue which understands the situation and what’s best for the dogs. Otta and Wolfie are now settling into their foster home where full assessment is underway.
On arrival into rescue the most urgent thing was to tidy up their matted coats which have not been taken care of for over a year. Post groom the sisters were perfectly happy, they’re playful and companionable and have a good future ahead of them as soon as their veterinary needs are met. Their first veterinary appointments have been successfully completed and both will receive overdue and necessary procedures, Otta will be spayed and Wolfie is in need of a full dental. All will be done within the next few weeks.
The sisters are bonded and close and will be rehomed together in due course. Applications for adoption are not yet open.
