Anna's Abseil for Schnauzerfest

The Spinnaker tower stands tall at 175 metres and is a sight to behold in itself. Then add three generations of a family abseiling down the tower raising money for Schnauzerfest and the vision is as perfect as it gets.

A few months ago, Anna Denham told us that she was planning to mark her 80th birthday with a memorable challenge for the charity. Yesterday she completed the abseil, courageously stepping off the platform with a big smile across her face! The nerves were not noticeable but the family’s collective bravery certainly was. One by one following Anna’s lead they descended the tower, with their orange attire shining bright in the sunshine and fun.

We often talk about fun in our fundraising and Anna and her family certainly brought that home. Thanks also to Dean Bostock the Pawphotographer along with Jane for once again capturing many special moments of the day for Schnauzerfest.

The final words go to Anna,

‘Terrifyingly fantastic, is how I would sum it up in two words.  I’m so proud of my family for supporting and joining me, also extremely thrilled with the money I have raised for Schnauzerfest.’
