Our Founder, author and staunch anti-puppy farming campaigner Janetta Harvey, has written a new book, Saving You, Saving Me.
It’s the story of how a deep desire to support rescue dogs, became a beacon of light and hope, not only for Janetta but for all the dogs who, despite starting life in horrific circumstances, go on to experience kindness and love. It is the story of Schnauzerfest.
Against a backdrop of her own personal and family heartache, with a small group of friends, Janetta started something which has since gone on to generate more than one million pounds to help schnauzers and other dogs who need an extra helping hand.
Janetta donates all royalties from book sales to the charity.
Everyone is warmly invited to join Janetta and members of the Schnauzerfest team for the book launch in Cheltenham. It will be hosted by one of our most favourite dog shops in the world, Be More Bob, located in the heart of Cheltenham. Please book your place to help with catering and planning.
Copies of the book can be pre-ordered and collected at the launch, Janetta will be signing books from 2.30pm.
“I will always continue to spread the word about puppy farming, with the hope that one day, the commercial, exploitative dog breeding industry will come to an end. I hope that my books help to hurry this day along. ”
