Rescues supported by Schnauzerfest
We work with a number of rescue organisations. Schnauzerfest Grants cover veterinary bills for dogs in their care. We primarily pay bills for schnauzers, but not exclusively so. We also prioritise dogs who have been taken from the breeding industry irrespective of breed.
Schnauzerfest Grants are also issued to help rescues provide veterinary treatment for dogs seized from illegal breeding facilities. In these cases it is often not possible for the rescues to publicly fundraise because of legal restrictions. This poses great demands on rescues doing this kind of work. Schnauzerfest provides a financial lifeline in these circumstances.
For some dogs veterinary care can be costly, running into several thousand pounds, for others, much less is required. For every dog helped, every penny is worth it.
