We warmly invite you to submit up to 4 of your photographs for the Schnauzerfest 2027 Charity Calendar. This is a big part of our annual fundraising, last year over £6000 was raised for the charity through the calendar alone.

For another year a private donor is generously covering print and production costs. This means when the calendar goes on sale in the autumn, 100% sales will help to pay vet bills, AMAZING.

So now what we need from you, our wonderful supporters are beautiful photos. Your help will be sure to make the 2027 calendar another sell-out.

How to enter

You can submit up to 4 photos of your very lovely schnauzers. Show off your photos, show off your dogs! Please note that we cannot accept any images that are AI generated. Please do not send more than 4, if you do, only the first 4 will be submitted to the judges (and they may not be your best!)

PICK YOUR BEST
1. We need photos for all seasons, so sort through your photos to find your best spring, summer, autumn and winter shots.
2. When choosing which to send us, think what you enjoy seeing in a calendar. Clear, sharp images work better than those with a lot of messy details. If it's hard to spot the dog, the photo won’t work for the calendar.

3. Take a critical look at the backgrounds, some just don’t work. Less is better.

4. Please do not submit any with people in them, we cannot use them.

5. No fancy dress. Simple dog coats are fine, fairy wings are not.

6. Our judges, and calendar buyers, love seeing dogs in natural settings. PLEASE no AI images.

7. Your photos must be high quality, suitable for printing. Look at them with a critical eye, see if you can improve by cropping, editing, or choose a better one. DO NOT USE AI.

8. Please email them using the link below AFTER making a donation. Tell us the name of the dog(s) in the photos you are submitting.

9. Entries close at midnight on Friday 15th May 2026.

IMPORTANT TO READ BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS
1. Maximum 4 photos per person. No AI please.

2. We ask for a donation of £4 per person (NOT per photo) entering. Donate using the link below before submitting your photos.
3. After donating, email your photos using the button below.

4. By submitting your photos you are giving permission for your photos to be used by Schnauzerfest to help promote our fundraising and awareness. This might extend to use beyond the 2027 Calendar. Your images will not be used for any other purpose than to help the charity.

5. You must own the copyright of all photographs you submit, if using a friend’s, or family member’s or anyone else, do not use without their explicit, written permission.

6. No discussion can be entered into about the judges’ selection of photos. They will base their choices entirely on what images are going to produce the very best possible calendar for the charity and its fundraising.


What happens next?

We are aiming for pre-orders sales to open early in September, and for shipping to start around October.

After entries close, a shortlist will be drawn up and final judging will be done by a panel of volunteer judges. Their only interest will be making sales of the calendar a success for the charity’s fundraising. We will use as many photos as we can in the calendar, but for those which don't appear, we hope you'll be excited to see them appear in promotional ways for the charity throughout the year. You are agreeing to Schnauzerfest using them in this way by submitting them.

Once the final selection is made, emails will be sent to those whose photos will be included, this will likely be around mid-end of July.

The calendar will be put together and managed entirely by Schnauzerfest volunteers.

Please keep an eye on our social media, and your inbox for the opening of pre-orders and sales. If previous years are anything to go by, we will sell out and would hate you to miss out on buying a copy or copies! The calendar makes a great gift.
