It was only when Greg was clipped, removing all the filthy, matted fur that it became apparent that he most likely has some schnauzer in his background. Not that this matters to whether or not he would receive help. What mattered was that this frightened, emaciated dog needed a place of safety where he would be cared for and get the second chance he deserved. Silver Fox Rescue are giving him exactly this, supported with a Schnauzerfest Grant covering the costs of his veterinary treatment and care.
Greg has been neutered, had a dental, flea and worm treatment and a course of vaccinations. He is in foster care where he is receiving everything he needs to build him up and get him well again. We thank Silver Fox rescue for working with the police when it was obvious that Greg and another little dog he was with needed good people to offer them safety.
