Emotional Support For Schnauzerfesters

We are delighted to bring news of how Schnauzerfesters can access the support of Joanna Taylor who is a Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist. And at the same time, support the charity. Joanna knows from personal experience how hard it can be when our dogs are ill, or we are facing life without them.

Joanna explains what she is offering:

“We all need a little emotional support from time to time, and whilst often, for Schnauzerfesters, this support comes in a schnauzer-shaped package, sometimes we need a little bit more than that.

I've been a Schnauzer-Mama to six schnauzers (and several Lhasa Apsos) over the past 35 years, and their wisdom has added much to my own professional learnings in the field of wellbeing. Our current two, Mungo and Winnie, are both puppy-farm rescues, now learning about the joys of living, loving and being loved.

Whilst sharing life with a schnauzer does unquestionably bring great joy, I know that the flipside of this is that they can, at times, also bring us stress, anxiety, sadness and grief.

If you're struggling with something and you'd like some emotional support, take a look here at what I can offer. If you think that I can help, then you are very welcome to contact me to arrange a confidential chat.

As a Schnauzerfest supporter, your first session (one hour online via Zoom, or on the telephone if you prefer) will be free of charge - any further sessions you wish to book will be charged at my usual rate, with 50% being donated back to Schnauzerfest.
