Daisy

Daisy was six months old when her owner asked the vet to euthanise as she couldn’t be bred from due to a problem with her leg. It wasn’t clear what the exact issue was at that stage, but as she had no breeding purpose she was not kept. Thankfully, ownership of Daisy was transferred and Rossendale Responsible Animal Rescue took on responsibility for her. The costs of investigating and if possible, treating Daisy’s leg were unknown at that stage but RRAR didn’t hesitate to take her under their experienced, compassionate wing.

This week, Daisy underwent specialist orthopedic surgery and is recovering well. A Schnauzerfest Grant is covering all veterinary costs.
