When Starfish Dog Rescue took Mr Pip in from the pound it was clear things were not good for this elderly dog. His life had turned upside down and at around 13 years old, the upset was taking its toll. He was in a state of confusion and shock.
Starfish is a small, dedicated rescue which places dogs immediately into foster homes and after a few days settling in, Mr Pip was soon showing signs that he was accepting his new surroundings, and reality. As an elderly dog, he has arthritis and is deaf and has a few other issues going on. A Schnauzerfest Grant is supporting Starfish, ensuring he has all he needs.
